Honorary degree for Burmese activist

Aung San Suu Kyi is to be awarded an honorary degree at Oxford University.
The Burmese civil rights activist and leader of the country's opposition is to receive a doctorate in civil law at the university’s annual Encaenia ceremony on June 12.
Last year she was guest curator of the Brighton Festival.
